Omniroast bezeichnet eine Röstung, die so ausbalanciert ist, dass sie für möglichst viele Brühmethoden funktioniert - von Filter über French Press bis Espressomaschine. Die Idee: ein Kaffee, der flexibel einsetzbar ist, ohne dabei seinen Charakter zu verlieren.

Im Jahre 1720 wurde der Kaffee aus Französisch-Guayana nach Brasilien eingeführt – heute ist Brasilien mit etwa 30% am Weltmarktanteil das wohl mächtigste Kaffee-Anbauland der Welt.

Es werden sowohl Arabica-, als auch Robusta-Bohnen geerntet, die in den verschiedensten Geschmäckern und in den unterschiedlichsten Preisklassen erhältlich sind. Das Spektrum reicht von billiger, so genannten Füllerqualitäten bis hin zu sehr begehrten Spitzengewächsen aus bestimmten Lagen. Die geschmacklichen Unterschiede können erheblich sein.

Die allgemeine Vorstellung, brasilianischer Kaffee sei recht kräftig, resultiert daraus, dass er eine der Grundlagen für Espressoröstungen darstellt.

Mykona Brasilien Santos von der Pinheiro Farm aus der Region Mococa besteht zu 100% aus Arabica-Bohnen, ist mild und hat einen weichen, naturmilden Geschmack bei einem geringen Säuregehalt. Er ist daher ein äußerst harmonischer, genussvoller Kaffee, der auch ideal am Morgen zum Frühstück passt.
